My name is Karina, I am a pastry chef, and along with my husband, Jorge, I am the co-founder and head baker at Almendra baking. I am a dedicated and caring individual who had the opportunity to turn her two big passions in life into professional careers, one in the Health Care industry and the other in the Food Service industry.

Almendra baking is a new food service business dedicated to the creation of baked goods that are gluten free and reduced in refined sugars. After unsuccessfully spending plenty of time searching for gluten free baking goods with low sugar content that can match the taste and texture of traditional baking products, we decided to start producing our own. This is what separates us from other providers.

We are proud to offer tastier and healthier baking products for everybody to enjoy, especially for those who due to health restrictions couldn’t indulge themselves with a delicious treat otherwise, because everybody deserves to enjoy a little bit of sweetness!
